Day 6

We were unfortunately not able to access the L' Aquila hospital today. Instead, we returned to the city center and upper neighborhoods.

Tomorrow, Day 7 is our final day in the region. We will return to Rome tomorrow night and prepare for our Thursday flight home. Though our spirits and momentum remain high, we are anxious to return to our families and our homes, armed with new appreciations and perspectives on our lives and our livelihoods.
